Golden Memories Arusha souvenir DVDs are ready! Get your copies before they run out. Ya Ali Madad everyone, The Golden Memories Arusha DVDs are finally ready for distribution. The first disc contains additional black and white pictures from Arusha which were sent after the reunion. The second disc contains colour photographs taken at three official events at the reunion in the Toronto area. We have also made additional copies of Memories of Arusha DVDs which some families are still requesting. We thank Nimet Visram, Shabi Rajani, Anisa Suleman and Nasrin Maherali for agreeing to distribute the DVDs in Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and Calgary. We feel the best, the quickest and the most efficient way to get the sets to others is to request self-addressed envelopes with proper postage. We will mail you the set as soon as envelopes are received. This time - thanks to our sponsors - we have produced some extra copies of DVDs. But they won't last forever. The sooner you send us the pre-addressed envelope, the sooner we will send you the DVDs. We will also distribute the sets to others from Arusha, who for one reason or other, were not able to attend the reunion in the Toronto area. The sets will be distributed on first-come-first-serve basis until the supplies run out. These DVDs do not have a copyright. We will appreciate if you can copy these for your families and friends who may need additional copies. The envelopes should be sent to Sultan Jessa at 35 Rue du Boise, Kirkland, Quebec. H9J 4B4. Remember we will stop once the supplies run out. We have 225 copies each of Disc One and Disc Two and only 50 copies of Memories of Arusha DVD. We are hoping the new DVDs will help Arushawallas in Calgary who are interested in the second reunion in the next three to five years. MESSAGE FROM THE ARUSHA REUNION COMMITTEE
| We are planning a re-union of classmates, friends, & families whose paths have taken them in different directions; some have stayed behind in Arusha, others have migrated to other parts of the world. We aim to provide an opportunity for all of us to meet again, renew old friendships, make new ones, and cherish the fondest memories of those wonderful days in our earlier years. The re-union will take place in Toronto over the weekend of July 30 to August 1, 2010. Please note that it will be a long weekend in Canada, with Monday, August 2nd being a public holiday. Information on places of interest & sightseeing can be found on the PREPARE page. The list of events is shown on the EVENTS page of this site.
